Body should be square. In other words: their legs should be about as long as their body. A short-legged, long-bodied confirmation is undesirable. Head should be large and round, not apple-headed. Large dark eyes, deep wrinkles. Nose should be blunt and short. Bite should be slightly undershot. Coat should be soft, smooth, and short. Markings of the mask, thumb prints on cheeks, & ears should be as black as possible. (White hairs of age do not count.) |
